Back in the days of early advertising, marketers didn’t have a lot of options for where they’d target customers. There were a few channels on TV, newspapers, and magazines. Marketers had to wait for customers to engage with them before sharing their message.

In the case of your $100 day of dog walking or house cleaning, you put in the time for the service and get paid immediately – shortcut up front. In the case of creating a scalable model for that service, you put in time to develop a network and systems that can generate and manage the demands of the business, then you replicate sales of the service with minimal extra time or monetary effort – shortcut later.

There’s a life cycle to building wealth, and having just $100 to invest says you’re right at the beginning. That means the most important thing is to figure out how to increase your savings rate because your savings rate as a percent of the amount you spend will determine how long it takes to achieve financial security. It is only late in that cycle once your savings are firmly established that investment return becomes important. For that reason, simply invest it in cash or low cost, passive index asset allocation approaches (many already mentioned here) so you don’t waste critical time focusing on unessential issues. Also, place it in an IRA or other tax-deferred legal legal structure so that you put a fence around it so that you face a penalty if you feel tempted to spend it. The 80/20 rule says focus on saving in the early stage of your wealth curve, and focus on return on investment in the latter stages once savings and essential personal finance habits (like saving) are firmly established.
the smallest custom audiences i use are around 1000 names. it may be possible to specify smaller audiences but in reality you end up with delivery issues (low impressions / high CPCs associated with needing to win the auction for such a tiny audience). I’ve found that audiences in the range of 1-100k work the best. (neither too big nor too small).
Use a calendar for every trial offer you sign up for, so you can cancel the trial before the free period ends and they charge you. That’s assuming you actually don’t want to keep using the product or service.

Not quite! Writing online does require a different set of tools and strategies than otherwise. One of those strategies is writing to an audience that scans articles instead of reading them all the way through. Breaking up the text with descriptive headers makes it more attractive to an online reader, but it isn’t the inverted pyramid style. Click on another answer to find the right one…
For most small businesses though, Facebook provides a level of targeting and sophistication that was unavailable a few years ago. It’s no wonder then why many startups are building their companies around Facebook-based marketing campaigns. Such entrepreneurs realize that Facebook is no longer about baby photos and wedding announcements, it’s about using the data of 2 billion people to supercharge your marketing.
It might sound like a stuck record, but there’s no alternative to quality content. That doesn’t mean getting hung up on perfecting something or reiterating ad infinitum. Nor does it mean spending your entire marketing and media budget on one glossy video post. It means planning your strategy and thinking about what, when, why and for whom are you posting. It means filtering the junk and being more selective about what goes on your page and what you ask your cohorts to share. Ask yourself the question: would you share your company’s post if you didn’t work there? It’s a great acid test for whether your content is likely to be shared.
Rather than making money through subscriptions, YouTube channels are based on a traditional advertising system. Meaning the more viewers you get, the more you make. Once you’re approved for the YouTube Partner Program and can start including ads on your videos, with every 1,000 views, you will make approximately $2-$4. Which might not seem like a lot, but if you have 100 videos with 5,000 views a month each, that would be $1,000–$2,000 already. Just imagine if your videos start hitting millions of views!

There’s a bigger fault with this ad than the color overlay, however. Interestingly enough, there’s no “buy one ticket, get one free” above the fold on the landing page as was suggested. We needed to scroll down about 35% of the page before it was visible as a banner. If people are clicking the ad because they’re excited about the ticket discount, then they may become disappointed or confused when clicking through and looking for more information on the “limited time offer.”
It’s also not a ‘get rich quick’ scheme. You will have to work I’m afraid! However with the growth of social media, network marketing is becoming easier and lots of people are now making a decent living from it.
