As this study by Facebook and Adaptly showed, creating a sequence of ads conveying your key brand message instead of selling improves overall conversion rates. In one study example, the difference in conversions between standard and sequence of ads was a staggering 87%.
Many voucher code web sites use a click-to-reveal format, which requires the web site user to click reveal the voucher code. The action of clicking places the cookie on the website visitor’s computer. In the United Kingdom, the IAB Affiliate Council under chair Matt Bailey announced regulations that stated that “Affiliates must not use a mechanism whereby users are encouraged to click to interact with content where it is unclear or confusing what the outcome will be.”
I do agree with you that some bloggers are heavy on the affiliate links and product promotion, but when that’s the case and I feel like they have little else to offer, I simply move on and find another blog that provides a bit more meat. Thus my mantra to myself (and all bloggers): Be helpful! 😉
Before we dig into some specific Facebook ad examples and the technical requirements for each format, let’s take a quick look at how the different types of Facebook campaigns align with business goals:
You know what the goal of your Facebook ad is—but do your viewers? Including a call to action (CTA) ensures that the people who see your ad understand what the next step is in developing a relationship with your company. Check out our guide on how to create effective CTAs.
But Facebook isn’t the only one making money thanks to its platform. Smart marketers, and even everyday users are using the immense popularity of this social networking site to make millions of dollars.

Describe the kind of gigs you are offering to your potential clients, be it making breakfast delivery, singing a song to the wedding anniversary, dress up as a Spider-man, or anything else you can imagine.
The good thing about affiliate marketing is that this industry is here to stay and will always be a reliable source of revenue for affiliates and bloggers looking to turn their side hustle into a full time business.
Good news: Companies make it very easy to get links to their site. The way that you get those links varies from company to company, but it’s usually very easy to find a link to the product or products that you’re looking for.
I’ve never worked directly with a manufacturer/producer. Most companies I’m aware of require you to work via their (often 3rd party-managed) affiliate program through which you can promote many or all of their products. Check out this post for a lot of affiliate programs (toward the bottom). Not sure if that answers your question.

The landing page is solid above the fold. There isn’t much match from the ad as far as the visuals or copy are concerned, but the page is simple and explains all of the benefits early on. The lack of visual matching is a little shocking from the ad to the page, going from the dark color and simple icon of the ad graphic to a light page with pink calls to action and branding.
When you create a remarketing audience for a campaign – go to “Audience”s in the “Tools” tab. You can create a custom audience and choose “Website Traffic” – this will give you the ability to target either your whole website or specific pages based on their URL parameters.
Affiliate marketing is an area that even the most seasoned bloggers can improve upon. Plus, most bloggers aren’t making anywhere near the amount of affiliate income that they should be and are leaving money on the table. If you want to grow your affiliate income, there are numerous tips and strategies that I share in Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing.
Find a profitable niche. Starting with your interests, write down as many niche ideas as you can. Think about topics people might search online. Ideas include passions (like surfing or body building), fears (like spiders or speaking in front of crowds) and problems (like getting out of debt). Do keyword research to see it others are interested in the topic. Find out if a domain name is available that matches the keyword 100 percent.
Some affiliate networks work with many brands/products so in those cases, you can be affiliates for multiple brands/products if you’re part of one affiliate network. Then there are other brands or products that have their own affiliate programs, so those you’ll have to manage separately. It can get sort of crazy to keep track. I use a spreadsheet with brand/product name, my affiliate link, whether or not the company is part of an affiliate network, etc. I wrote about it here. I hope that makes sense!

In a previous post I reported on cash and valuables hidden in your home, but that was about what others have left behind. You might have your own forgotten stashes. Make sure your ads and landing page are consistent with their message. This is especially important on Facebook, where your ad will fail if its message is not consistent with the landing page. On the contrary, there will be higher quality leads and conversion rates if the messages match.
Once you’ve started to build up your following, you may want to consider adding a Facebook Group to your marketing plan. With more than one billion people using Facebook Groups every month, it’s an audience too large to ignore. Think of Groups as the online equivalent of the office water cooler or your favorite coffee shop. They are a place for people to get together and share information and ideas with like-minded users in an online community environment.

While Etsy is a great place to get in front of potential customers who wouldn’t have otherwise found you, once you’re up and running and have built a decent audience, you can move your store over to Shopify and retain a larger portion of the income you make from selling your goods.
